Job Description
Tailored Support Services, LLC offers Community Participation Supports which is intended to support community life secondary to employment, as a primary goal. Community Participation Supports at TSS provide opportunities for people to integrate themselves into their community while also providing opportunities for goal-oriented activities. Community experiences allow people to explore their community and possibilities for employment.
We are seeking a reliable part-time support professional to assist individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual/developmental disabilities in leading independent lives. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living.
- Encouraging behaviors and attitudes that support community inclusion.
- Providing support in community-based settings.
Position Details:
Schedule: Thursdays 11:00 am - 3:00 pm and Tuesdays/Wednesdays 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Total Weekly Hours: 7.5
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Training provided for the right candidate! Must be comfortable working in the community during scheduled hours and have reliable transportation.
Location: Community-based; must have reliable transportation with active car insurance, registration and inspection stickers.
